Mendocino Farms

If you happen to know someone who says that they don’t like sandwiches, take them to Mendocino Farms. There are a few locations around LA, including the valley and Downtown, so you won't have to drive to far to convince them that Mendocino Farms will make them fall in love with sandwiches.

I’ve been a couple of times now to the Marina Del Rey location and I have always left impressed! What makes “Mendo” different from other sandwich shops is that they are not a fast food type of place. It is a fast casual environment, where you order, get a number, and they either bring your food or you pick it up at the counter. Their core beliefs are that of Sustainable Farming and the Slow Food Movement; meaning fresh, delicious, farm-to-table food.

Today I ordered the Steak BLT made with tender chopped steak, applewood bacon, romaine, roasted tomatoes, herb aioli, red wine onions on a toasted rustic white bread. This was indeed an incredible sandwich. Mendocino Farms labels themselves Sandwich Aficionados, and they’re right!
