It was a long Saturday night staying up late - no, we weren’t partying, just two new parents in love with their baby that likes to wake up multiple times at night. So come Sunday morning the grandparents watched the little dude, while me and The Mrs went for brunch at The Tripel in Playa Del Rey.
It seems that Chef Brooke Williamson and Nick Roberts can do no wrong. I’m already a fan of Playa Provisions and Hudson House, so I had some high expectations for the new brunch menu at The Tripel, and I was not disappointed. We got a chance to catch up with SnackFace over perfect dishes like Banana Bread French Toast and Sweet Carrot Farro. Of course there was a breakfast burger on the table - which, I could barely devour. I blame the sleepless night, my game was off!
The Tripel hit the spot that morning. A bike ride down the beach nearby, completed the day.
