The space is a refurbished 1920’s house that has a warm and welcoming feel. The food consists of comforting American classics with a creole influence. In the background you can hear a mix of blues and New Orleans style jazz. The staff is friendly and accommodating and you immediately feel that you’re among friends and family, enjoying great food.
Me and the Mrs. went for lunch during the week and enjoyed every single dish we ordered! We started with the Devilish Eggs that were, in my opinion, some of the best deviled eggs I’ve had because they’re topped with corn and poblano relish, bacon, and Sriracha! The Bacon Wrapped Jalapeños with crab and cream cheese were also delicious with lots of heat. Great appetizers, so you would think we were done there, but then came the Mac 'n Cheetos!
The Attic, is well known for their mac and cheese served with Flaming Hot Cheetos. That’s right! It’s cheesy, crunchy, and packs some heat. I’ll be honest, I haven’t had Flaming Hot Cheetos since High School, but man - I’m sold on this dish! I can’t wait to go back and order it again. You can also customize it to your liking by adding items like caramelized onions, avocados, bacon, chorizo, and shrimp.
